About The Position

This position is responsible for ensuring all warehouse systems run properly and performs general maintenance repairs to systems as needed.

Knowledge of occupational hazards of the relevant occupational trades and the necessary safety precautions.
Basic electrical knowledge to troubleshoot wiring.
Able to fabricate parts when necessary to keep the system running.
Able to maintain order and cleanliness of warehouse.
Able to understand and carry out oral and written instructions. Listens actively to others’ directions.
Able to meet work commitments.
Able to work independently.
Is flexible and adaptable.
Able to easily switch between tasks.
Is responsible and dependable.
Able to move easily throughout the warehouse.
Able to bend, stoop, kneel, climb, and reach with arms and hands to perform general maintenance tasks.
Able to regularly lift and move up to 25 lbs. of material and occasionally lift and move up to 160 lbs.

Utilizes basic electrical knowledge to trouble shoot wiring, change out breakers.
Repairs or replaces conveyor belts, chains, sprockets, air lines, and any associated equipment.
Replaces and wires motors when needed.
Works with the P.L.C to reset automated wrapping systems.
Adjusts photo eyes and proximity switches.
Works with pneumatics.
Cleans and maintains equipment from broken and spilled products.
Assists with any warehouse functions when necessary.
Adheres to all safety codes and OSHA standards.
Maintains safe and clean working environment.
Have the ability to perform P.L.C. diagnostics and repairs.
Performs any additional duties and special tasks assigned by the Director of Facilities.
