About The Position

The Technician II position at Paladin Technologies involves performing installation, startup, and closeout of various security and technology systems. Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in the electronic field with daily use of AC/DC theory.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Valid US driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Basic computer skills.
• Proper hand and power tool operations and safety knowledge.
• Ability to solve practical problems and work under minimal supervision.
• Ability to organize workload for effective implementation.

Nice To Haves

• Associate's degree in a technical capacity is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform startup, installation, and closeout of all jobs.
• Assist Project Managers in design and other assigned tasks.
• Install and terminate cable and equipment according to specifications and building codes.
• Test all equipment after termination to ensure system performance.
• Train apprentices on company procedures and installation techniques.
• Communicate daily with Project Manager regarding job status and requirements.
• Oversee installation of multiple crews to ensure jobs are on track and within budget.
• Ensure complete closeout and turnover of jobs to clients and service department.
• Maintain accurate written records including project documentation and logs.
