Your Role This role will be responsible for inventory management for maintenance staff for all equipment in the Galaxy Mixing, Filling and Finishing process. The Inventory Tech will be responsible for inspecting and receiving purchase order components and managing storage of indirect materials in an inventory system. Requirements

  • Must not be allergic to Penicillin and Cephalosporin or their related products and minerals.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required, technical certifications a plus
  • 3 or more years manufacturing systems experience preferred
  • 2 or more years of manufacturing systems experience with associate’s degree
  • 1 or more year of manufacturing systems experience with a bachelor’s degree
  • Prior experience working in an FDA regulated environment preferred.
  • Experience with parts management/inventory management systems
  • Ability to read & understand electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic drawings.
  • Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and their respective components
  • Skilled in MS Word, MS Excel and Maximo or similar CMMS.
  • Organizational skills and drive to standardize key to team culture.

Nice To Haves

  • 8-Step, Blue/Green/Black Belt Lean, or other training in problem solving

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret mechanical schematics
  • Recognize machine components and assemblies, including PM completion part kits
  • Communicate equipment issues and work status to supervision, manufacturing, and management per the plant’s Stop and Fix guidelines.
  • Review Inventory and Purchase Orders and administrate using the Maximo CMMS system.
  • Note in Maximo equipment trends related to the issues and support efforts to eliminate reoccurring problems.
  • Solicit help from Lead technicians and engineering assistance when needed.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
  • Adhere to the Baxter Code of Conduct.
  • Maintain 100% on time completion of all required training.
