About The Position

As an Industrial Lubrication Technician at Freshpet, you play a vital role in ensuring the optimal performance and longevity of our industrial equipment. Your primary responsibilities include lubricating machinery, conducting inspections, managing fluids, troubleshooting, performing maintenance and repairs, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining accurate documentation.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Certification in lubrication technology preferred
• 2+ years of experience and knowledge of lubrication equipment or similar role in a manufacturing/industrial work environment
• Capability to read and interpret technical documents, including OEM maintenance plans, blueprints, and software system instructions
• Strong mechanical and problem solving aptitude
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently
• Attention to detail
• Good customer service skills

Nice To Haves

• Certification in lubrication technology preferred

Responsibilities

• Lubricating Machinery: Regularly lubricate various components of industrial machinery to ensure smooth operation and prevent wear and tear
• Inspecting Equipment: Inspect machinery for signs of wear, leaks, or other issues to identify potential problems early and prevent breakdowns
• Fluid Management: Manage fluids such as oil, hydraulic fluid, and grease by checking fluid levels, topping them off, and replacing them as needed
• Maintenance and Repairs: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including filter replacements, belt adjustments, and cleaning
• Address necessary repairs promptly
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols while working with machinery and handling lubricants to ensure a safe working environment
• Documentation: Keep accurate records of maintenance tasks, inspections, and repairs. Provide detailed service reports to track equipment performance
