Requirements

• The candidate must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in a fast-paced manufacturing/machining environment.
• Candidates must be energetic, cooperative, flexible and willing to learn and ability to obtain a DSS “SECRET” clearance.
• High school diploma plus additional coursework equivalent to an Associate’s degree.
• Extensive directly related technical work experience.
• Demonstrated skill in using a variety of standard tools and laboratory equipment.

Responsibilities

• Proficient in CNC programming and machining.
• Capable of making own set-ups on simple, easy to machine parts to single one-of-a-kind complex prototypes on a variety of materials.
• Understand basic mechanical blueprints, requisite knowledge, which provides an ability to complete machining and inspections.
• The ability to record results, including generating comprehensive nonconformance reports allowing the Material Review Board to understand the non-conformance without the need for further clarification.
• Perform all duties while maintaining compliance with all regulatory and quality system requirements and communicate in a professional manner.
• Perform inspections using standard inspection equipment, i.e. calipers, micrometers, indicators, comparator, various gages, CMM and FARO arm.
• Perform first article inspections and Engineering evaluation reports on items of moderate difficulty.
• Perform in-process, and last piece inspections, completes documentation accurately, & maintains a neat and orderly environment.
• Willing to learn and be capable of providing technical and operational assistance to others within CTC
