The Opportunity This position works out of our Temecula, CA location in the Abbott Vascular Devices division. Abbott Vascular provides innovative, minimally invasive, and cost-effective products for the treatment of vascular disease. MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE Maintains facilities, facilities systems and equipment to provide a safe, efficient and comfortable workplace. Responsibilities include operation, repair, and preventative maintenance of all building facilities and equipment; move and installation of equipment and or furniture; and other related duties. Expert level only: Provides validation technical assistance to engineering to support manufacturing efforts by implementing corrective and preventative actions. Assists engineers in developing methods and procedures to control or improve Facilities processes. Assists in execution of facility and utility validations. In addition, this role provides quality support by reviewing and monitoring workflow within the Maximo system, ensuring work orders are processed accurately and efficiently. The position also supports OOT (Out-of-Tolerance) and UPE (Unplanned Event) processes by evaluating documentation, identifying gaps or compliance risks, and helping ensure timely closure and alignment with quality standards.
