The primary role of this position is to provide support and leadership for technical matters in facilities maintenance department activities. This position identifies problems and assists with corrective actions leading to continuous improvements. In addition to, coordinating the installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of facilities’ equipment, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, security, and facility grounds, the Technician III works to guide, train, mentor, and otherwise assist other technicians and associates.

Requirements

  • 4+ years in related role in an applicable environment.
  • Experience with building systems (HVAC, boilers, plumbing, electrical).
  • Associate’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Advanced technical or mechanical problem solving

Responsibilities

  • Perform the troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, installation, calibration, and improvement of Hach equipment.
  • Provide training and documentation as needed for end-users.
  • Provide or request purchased tools and equipment as authorized.
  • Coordinate the movement of furniture and equipment as needed.
  • Participate on Kaizen Events.
  • Required to work off-shift and weekends, as needed, to support facility processes.
  • Perform light janitorial, light plumbing, and elevated tasks.
  • Operate department vehicles and equipment.
