About The Position

The Technician II responsibilities include, but are not limited to performing startup, installation, closeout and service of jobs; assisting in design and other tasks as assigned while delivering on Bosch Building Technologies commitments to customers.

Requirements

  • 1 + years prior experience in a technical role within the Integrated Security Industry or low voltage electrical experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Valid Driver’s License with clean record
  • Ability to pass pre-employment screening
  • Ability to use hand and specialty power tools associated with the industry
  • Ability to lift 50lbs consistently
  • Able to work independently
  • Strong interpersonal skills

Nice To Haves

  • 3 + years prior experience in a technical role within the Commercial Integrated Security Industry
  • Associates degree (2 year) in a technical capacity
  • Aptitude for learning system programming as evidenced by 1 year of experience

Responsibilities

  • Installs, terminates and tests equipment as per specifications and in conjunction with any pertaining building and or electrical codes
  • Repair, restore and test all systems per specifications and in conjunction with any pertaining building and or electrical codes.
  • Daily communications with Project Manager on delays, requirements and general status of jobs to ensure delivery of the project
  • All work is performed to Company standards and quality installation techniques are practiced.
  • Work with Project Manager to ensure complete closeout and turnover of jobs to the client and service department
  • Work at required heights utilizing ladders, scaffolding, lifts, or other.
  • Work in confined spaces as necessary.
  • Work with Field Engineers on startup to ensure complete system compliance.
  • Responsible for training apprentices on Company procedures, systems and installation techniques.
