At Blue Origin, we envision millions of people living and working in space for the benefit of Earth. We’re working to develop reusable, safe, and low-cost space vehicles and systems within a culture of safety, collaboration, and inclusion. Join our team of problem solvers as we add new chapters to the history of spaceflight! This role supports the development and operations of New Glenn, a single-configuration, heavy-lift orbital launch vehicle capable of routinely carrying people and payloads to low-Earth orbit, geostationary transfer orbit, cislunar, and beyond. Its first stage is fully reusable, and the vehicle was designed from the beginning to be human-capable. As part of the New Glenn Component Test team, you will support development, qualification, and production test campaigns on various New Glenn spaceflight systems. You will be required to maintain a safety-first mindset while setting up and executing hazardous tests, including cryogenic, high voltage, and high-pressure systems. You will be responsible for independently fabricating and troubleshooting test rigs/systems as well as test harnesses. You will support the team's equipment management and calibration. In addition, you will support flight hardware production by evaluating test procedures and processes for efficiency and implementing improvements. We are looking for someone who can work in a team environment and apply their technical expertise, leadership skills, and commitment to quality to positively impact safe human spaceflight.
