Summary: We are seeking an experienced, high caliber, P/C Waste Water Operator. Requirements

  • Current SC Waste Water license (Minimum of Level C Physical Chemical)
  • Minimum 3 years' experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Two-year technical vocational training and/or military experience.
  • Minimum 1-3 years' experience.
  • Knowledge of and skill in repairing industrial machines.

Responsibilities

  • Operate P/C Waste Water Treatment System.
  • Perform preventive, scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, safety checks, repairs, installations and modifications on Waste Water treatment equipment.
  • Support the overall Facilities Support Team by performing general facilities maintenance activities.
  • Record all maintenance activities.
  • Knowledge of and experience using tools required for the operation and maintenance of P/C Waste Water equipment as well as general Facilities maintenance tasks.
  • Ability to understand and follow verbal and written procedures.
  • Knowledge of maintenance and equipment terminology, descriptions and functions.
  • Knowledge of personal computer operations and experience using software packages such as Microsoft Office, Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (InforEAM), Building Automation Systems (Metasys), etc.
  • Ability to recognize repair items that require outside service and arrange for repair.
  • Ability to respond to and answer/solve technical questions pertaining to P/C Waste Water Operations.
  • Ability to train technicians in new and revised procedures.
