Job Title: Technician II - Industrial Mechanical Location: Richmond, VA What we are looking for: A Technician II - Industrial Mechanical will have experience in a manufacturing environment installing, repairing, and maintaining machinery and equipment, as well as the physical structure of an industrial facility

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2+ years in Industrial Mechanical/Machinist
  • 2 years or more in machine based Industrial Electrical/Electronics,
  • Be a self-starter and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to operate various Saws, drills, bench tools and hand tools.
  • Familiar with work order systems

  • High School and Trade School or Apprenticeship.

Responsibilities

  • Observe and inspect our machinery and facility and to make recommendations for changes in procedures and structures.
  • Install, maintain, inspect, and initiate repairs and correction of machinery and equipment.
  • Install and repair electrical apparatus such as transformers, electrical and electronic components of automated machinery.
  • Locate parts and prices to effect repairs, complete required forms for purchases.
  • Use the National Electrical Code, manuals, schematic diagrams, and blueprints to diagnose and repair equipment.
  • Diagnose and replace faulty mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components of machinery and associated equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed using Fixx work order system.
  • Keep work area in clean, safe, and orderly manner
  • Operate forklift or boom lift.
  • Other duties as assigned
