About The Position

The purpose of this position is to work on routine assigned tasks which are tactical and administrative in nature by assisting and supporting other Contract Management specialists and Technicians. The role involves preparing, maintaining, retrieving, and communicating records, reports, or documents that may be required to meet corporate and Contract Management requirements. Additionally, the position provides support to Contract Management activities on large-scale projects, assisting multiple Contract Administrators and Contract Managers with the preparation and execution of pre-award and post-award activities. Responsibilities also include participating in the pre-qualification process of subcontractors, preparing and maintaining all electronic and hard copy files in accordance with Fluor's Practices for records retention, assisting in the preparation and assembly of Request For Proposals and Contracts, and auditing invoices for mathematical errors, rate overages, and accurate time sheet charges.

Requirements

  • A combination of education and directly related experience equal to three (3) years.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors.
  • Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner.

Nice To Haves

  • Intermediate computer and software skills including word processing, email, spreadsheets, and electronic presentations.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, maintain, retrieve, and communicate records, reports, or documents required for corporate and Contract Management requirements.
  • Provide support to Contract Management activities on large-scale projects.
  • Assist multiple Contract Administrators and Contract Managers with pre-award and post-award activities.
  • Participate in the pre-qualification process of subcontractors.
  • Issue pre-qualification questionnaires to bidders/contractors and consolidate data.
  • Prepare and maintain electronic and hard copy files in accordance with Fluor's Practices for records retention.
  • Assist in the preparation and assembly of Request For Proposals and Contracts.
  • Audit invoices for mathematical errors, rate overages, and accurate time sheet charges.
  • Learn and utilize Fluor's Contract Management System (CMSism), SAP Systems, and Fluor's Reference Systems.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
