About The Position

We’re looking for a dependable, hands-on Battery Technician to join our warehouse team. In this role, you’ll help keep our facility, equipment, and systems running safely and efficiently through routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work. What You’ll Do Ensure Safe Battery Changes for our associates operating equipment Use maintenance software systems to log work orders, track performance metrics, and ensure accountability Maintain accurate service records and complete required documentation Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime Assist with or learn to maintain other facility systems, including: Fire suppression systems Overhead doors, dock plates, and levelers Facility lighting and electrical systems Battery changer equipment and charging stations Warehouse racking and safety systems Maintain a clean, safe, and organized maintenance work area Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members about repairs and equipment needs What You’ll Bring Required: Ability to read and understand equipment manuals, diagrams, and schematics Willingness to learn and support other warehouse maintenance systems, such as fire suppression, doors, dock equipment, racking, lighting, and battery handling Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Good communication and teamwork skills Willing and able to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed Ability to safely operate tools and powered equipment Preferred: Experience with battery changer systems or battery room safety Experience using CMMS or digital work order systems Certifications related to MHE repair, electrical safety, or equipment operation OSHA training or other safety-related certifications High school diploma or equivalent (GED) Physical Requirements This position requires the ability to: Stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and reach throughout the shift Lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs on a regular basis Work in varying temperatures and warehouse environments Use hand tools and powered equipment safely and effectively Visually inspect equipment and parts for wear or damage Follow safety procedures, including lockout/tagout and PPE use Why You’ll Love Working Here We offer one of the most competitive benefits packages in the industry for full-time associates: Affordable medical, dental, and vision insurance Company-paid life insurance Short- and long-term disability coverage Flexible spending accounts (FSA) 401(k) with company match Annual merit increases and advancement opportunities Discounted stock purchase plan Parental and caregiver leave Daily pay option Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Ready to Join Us? Requirements
