The hours for this position are Monday -Thursday 6am to 4:30, giving you a three-day weekend! This role is located at our New Britain Facility. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • One year of warehouse/industrial/manufacturing experience
  • Able to read, write and speak English
  • Must have basic math skills
  • Strong mechanical knowledge
  • Ability to follow instruction and work independently
  • Good communication skills
  • Complete facility specific Operator position training per the MicroCare Training and Development Matrix and perform any additional responsibilities per the Matrix
  • Ability to read and follow detailed batch ticket instructions
  • Mathematically competent
  • Warehouse, industrial, or manufacturing work experience
  • Ability to adhere to deadlines

Nice To Haves

  • Chemical blending experience
  • Proficient in computer skills
  • Knowledge of manufacturing conveyor systems
  • Mechanical abilities
  • Forklift Certification
  • Ability to observe and provide process improvement guidance/suggestions

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the set-up and break-down of the various filling lines to manufacture all of the different types of MicroCare products.
  • Package, label, lot, and stack all products according to batch ticket instructions.
  • Inspect all finished products for accuracy and quality.
  • Maintain clean work environment.
  • Dispose of daily trash and cardboard.
  • Assist in various warehouse tasks as needed.
  • If required, move raw materials and finished goods around the warehouse with propane powered forklift.
  • Promote an incident free workplace by complying with safety policies and procedures and participating in company safety trainings.
  • Other duties as assigned.
