About The Position

The Sprinkler Technician will assist our teams in installation and service for our Fire Sprinkler department. This is a non-union role/shop. This role is ideal for someone with mechanical aptitude who is interested in pursuing a career path in the Fire & Life Safety Industry with a focus on hands-on work. Requirements

Mechanical aptitude preferred, ability to work with hand tools
Must be punctual and reliable
Must use good judgement, trustworthy, and responsible
Self-motivated and driven
Must possess a desire to learn about the fire protection industry
Integrity that aligns with CMFP’s company values
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite - Excel / Word
Must be comfortable lifting 50-150Lbs. +
Must have a head for heights as you will be working on lifts and near ceilings
Must have a clean driving record
Valid driver’s License
HS Diploma or Equivalent
Pre-Employment Drug/Alcohol Screen

Responsibilities

Learn and assist in the installation and repair process of fire sprinkler systems, work along side experienced technicians to learn all aspects of the Sprinkler service and repair role
Learn the necessary objectives to qualify for NICET Certification
Expected to work overtime when necessary (especially in winter months, early mornings and evenings are frequent)
