About The Position

At Lambert's Cable, as a quality control technician, you'll work in the field reviewing active construction projects. Your role will involve ensuring that completed construction projects meet site clean-up standards and that close-out documentation is fulfilled. You will ensure that active construction work is completed to Lambert's requirements and customer satisfaction. Additionally, you will verify that internal CORE documentation matches the completed LCS and customer requirements, reporting any issues or lack of documentation to market leadership. Minor field corrections to installations may also be required, along with handling and delivering small materials to field crews. You will operate and report using general computer applications.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• 1-3 years minimum experience in the Underground Utility Construction Industry (training available for the right applicant).
• Problem-solving skills.
• Computer skills.
• Valid driver's license with a minimum of 2 years driving experience.
• Willingness to work in both solo and team environments.
• Ability to work in all types of weather, including inclement weather.
• Self-starter.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to travel and work extended hours, including overtime and weekends.
• Some understanding of the Telecom Industry.
• Experience operating a cable locator.
