The Technician I - Logistics will provide shipping, receiving and inventory maintenance support. Job Duties and Responsibilities: The Technician I - Logistics will have to obtain and maintain DOT Certification The Technician I - Logistics will properly package, label and tag warehouse inventory. The Technician I - Logistics will complete and log daily activities including: receiving, shipping, stocking, tooling, auditing, issuing all materials and completing special assignments. The Technician I - Logistics will conduct cycle-counts of inventory and manage daily log. The Technician I - Logistics will enter material into IES Inventory database. The Technician I - Logistics will load and unload goods and supplies and ensure proper handling of the same. The Technician I - Logistics will maintain warehouse quality by keeping track of all damaged inventory and reporting it in a timely manner. The Technician I - Logistics will complete other responsibilities as assigned. The Technician I - Logistics may require operating both forklifts and company vehicles. The Technician I - Logistics will work in accordance with 5S organization and Lean principles. The Technician I - Logistics will efficiently carry out all task assignments.
