The Facilities Maintenance Technician I & II provides routine facility and equipment maintenance (either with direct or indirect supervision), monitors and operates the HVAC systems. The FMT is responsible for the ongoing preventive maintenance and repair work on facility mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC and other installed systems including fire and security alarms. This role requires day-to-day coordination of building maintenance (reactive and preventive). The Facilities Maintenance Technician III works as a lead Technician assisting other technicians on how to perform critical repairs and are responsible for the facility with regard to all controls and some electrical projects. This position supports all Maintenance tasks related to preventive maintenance, updating, repairing, optimizing and installing existing and new equipment. This position also supports maintenance projects initiated by Maintenance work orders, Maintenance Management or Project Engineering personnel.
