THE ROLE: The 1st shift Cycle Count Technician I will operate a high reach truck, forklift or order picker to conduct daily cycle counts on product within the warehouse safely and efficiently. The Cycle Count Technician will also assist with the yearly physical inventory processes. The Cycle Count Technician I will ensure all processes and procedures are followed and are within compliance standards. Will work onsite at our state of art Innovation and Manufacturing facility in Winston-Salem, NC. HOW YOU WOULD CONTRIBUTE: Perform daily and weekly cycle counts, and physical inventory processes as scheduled by the Inventory Control Supervisor or Inventory Control Lead in accordance with set counting schedules and count standards via an RF scanner or manual count sheets. Accurately record counts and report any variances found during count process. Requires good understanding of Warehouse and Production basic processes and procedures within the Manufacturing facility to identify process/procedure errors or opportunities. Customer Service orientation – monitor, correct, and communicate inventory issues with assigned areas, and complete Inventory Control e-mail assignments effectively and timely. Perform daily forklift inspections to insure optimum use of material handling equipment. Document the inspection on the daily checklist and report any equipment problems to the Inventory Control Supervisor immediately or Lead. Operate reach trucks, forklifts and order pickers in a safe and appropriate manner when required. Report safety hazards, unsafe working conditions or housecleaning issues to Supervisor, Manager, security, safety committee member or any management team member. Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area keeping a constant watch for any safety issues. Perform other functions and duties as assigned or necessary.
