About The Position
Martin/Martin, Inc. is looking for an entry level Technician position. Performs entry level drafting and modeling while learning proficiency in the Department’s modeling/drafting platform and modeling/drafting standards. About Martin/Martin, Inc. Our civil engineering teams focus on site and infrastructure design, currently leading projects such as the 16th Street Mall redesign in Denver. Lastly, our investigative engineers are pivotal in supporting ongoing projects by planning and implementing repairs, renovations, and improvements for buildings and sites. With nine office locations and a staff of 370, Martin/Martin engineers regularly perform work across the United States and internationally. Entry level technician position developing proficiency in their department’s modeling/drafting software and standards. Duties vary based on discipline listed in title.
Requirements
- Graduation from high school or GED equivalent
- Experience with drafting/modeling software like that used by the department
Nice To Haves
- Graduation from an accredited program in information modeling/design technology/drafting, of 1-year minimum duration, or equivalent, directly related experience of at least 2 years
- Drafting, 3D modeling, construction, or architectural design experience
- Familiarity with department’s modeling/drafting software
Responsibilities
- Transfers redlines to drawings
- Drafts details
- 3D modeling
- Creates plans, sections, elevations, 3D views, details, and schedules from the model
- Applies company modeling/drafting standards
- Communicates in a professional manner
- Other duties as assigned
