About The Position

We are looking for an HVAC Technician with experience in Automated Logic systems to join our team. You will manage the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, with a focus on automated control systems. We are looking for someone with an understanding of HVAC principles, and proficiency in Automated Logic software and hardware.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in HVAC technology.
  • 3+ years of HVAC experience.
  • Experience with Automated Logic systems and related software (preferred).
  • Valid HVAC technician certification and licenses (e.g., EPA Section 608).
  • Experience with HVAC principles, electrical systems, and control systems.
  • Ability to lift heavy equipment and spend extended time on feet.
  • Willingness to work in different environmental conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Install and repair HVAC systems, including chillers, boilers, air handlers, and ductwork.
  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment to ensure performance.
  • Configure, program, and troubleshoot Automated Logic control systems for HVAC applications.
  • Monitor system performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary adjustments.
  • Resolve HVAC system malfunctions, including electrical, mechanical, and control issues.
  • Use diagnostic tools and software to assess system performance and identify causes of problems.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and system performance.
  • Prepare reports on HVAC system status and recommend improvements or upgrades.
  • Work with other maintenance staff and contractors to ensure seamless operation of HVAC systems.
  • Provide technical support and training to junior technicians and other staff.
  • Follow all safety protocols and regulations while performing HVAC work.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding HVAC systems and environmental standards.
