About The Position

The GE HealthCare Repair Operations Center is looking for new talent to join the GoldSeal operation. Our team refurbishes and remanufactures used The GE HealthCare Repair Operations Center is looking for new talent to join the GoldSeal operation. Our team refurbishes and remanufactures used medical imaging devices which extend the lives of the systems, keeping them out of the landfill and offering our customers a more cost effective system to continue to support their patients. If you are an ambitious individual looking to learn the GoldSeal process, self-sufficient, and have great time management skills this might be the position for you. As a technician, you will support our GoldSeal Operation by performing diverse and complex assignments in support of GE HealthCare product development and manufacturing. Assignments may include but are not limited to: installing/deinstalling imaging systems, ordering parts to working bays, and documentation.

Requirements

  • Associates degree, or a High School diploma and 1 years technical experience
  • Proficiency to logically troubleshoot at subsystem and system level, using identifiable problem-solving techniques
  • Ability to draw accurate conclusions from test data, malfunctions, or deviations, and assist with corrections to the existing design or process
  • Proficiency to understand and interpret basic written technical information
  • Demonstrated ability to work well with limited direction and information
  • Ability to communicate using English (or local language)
  • Ability to lift 35 lbs. anything over requires assistance.

Nice To Haves

  • Strong computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft office applications
  • Demonstrated expertise with hand and power tools
  • Electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting experience
  • Familiarity with GE HealthCare medical systems

Responsibilities

  • Work with a safety-first mindset to keep self and other team members safe
  • Maintain accurate records consistent with GE HealthCare’s good documentation practices
  • Provide evaluation and constructive feedback in the development of new and existing work instructions
  • Provide strong individual contributions to assist in the team’s overall success
  • Complete all planned Quality, Compliance, and Safety training within defined deadlines
  • Use basic hand and power tools to assist in installing and deinstalling medical systems
  • Utilize pallet jacks, lift carts, and other equipment to safely move heavy systems and parts
  • Contribute to the improvement and sustainment of departmental Lean and 5s goals
