About The Position

This position will be for a Food Equipment Tech. The role is essential for maintaining the operational integrity and efficiency of food equipment in Walmart stores, contributing to overall store performance and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Vocational or Technical certification and 3 years' experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related trade.
• 5 years' experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related trade if no vocational or technical certification.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Eligible for a Commercial Driver's License (CDL).

Nice To Haves

• Completion of a 2-year Vocational or Technical trade program.
• License in related trade in city and/or state where job is located.
• Using intermediate level functionality of word processing, spreadsheet, email, and presentation software (for example, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing commercial food equipment.
• Ability to develop and adhere to maintenance schedules.
• Capability to train Store Associates on equipment care and cleaning.
• Competence in managing work orders and maintenance logs.
• Clear, transparent, and respectful communication with customers.
• Ability to handle changing and competing demands.
• Strong collaborative skills and belief in Servant Leadership.
