This position will be for a Food Equipment Tech. The role is essential for maintaining the operational integrity and efficiency of food equipment in Walmart stores, contributing to overall store performance and customer satisfaction.
Diagnosing and repairing commercial food equipment.
Developing and adhering to maintenance schedules.
Training Store Associates on equipment care and cleaning.
Managing work orders and maintenance logs.
Communicating clearly, transparently, and respectfully with customers.
Handling changing and competing demands effectively.
Collaborating with team members and practicing Servant Leadership.
Vocational or Technical certification and 3 years' experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related trade.
5 years' experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related trade if no certification.
Valid Driver's License.
Eligible for a Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
Completion of a 2-year Vocational or Technical trade program.
License in related trade in city and/or state where job is located.
Using intermediate level functionality of word processing, spreadsheet, email, and presentation software (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
