About The Position

The North American Axis Communications’ Event Production team is looking for their new team member. This person will be responsible for the planning and implementation of Axis Communications technology at trade shows, conferences and other marketing activities in North America. In addition to event support, this role will own special technology-focused projects throughout the year. What you’ll do here as Technician in the Event Production team? Coordinate equipment, configure demos, and plan technical components for North American trade shows and conferences. Develop installation timelines, oversee install and dismantle and serve as on-site technical lead during events. Prepare equipment for events, including product demo development, software configurations, partner integrations, and documentation creation. Serve as primary contact and technical support for co-exhibiting partners. Manage inventory for event equipment, utilizing inventory software, packing equipment, and organizing shipments. Lead special projects as assigned, including exhibit updates, sales kit buildout, and specialty technology demos.

Requirements

  • Fluent in Microsoft Office
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or 2+ years working in a related position or industry
  • Experience in IP networking
  • Experience with tradeshows or events

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a technical support environment, help desk or technical training preferred
  • Background in a technology field, video surveillance, networking or computer hardware
  • Project management
  • Axis Certified Professional
