About The Position

Monterey Park Hospital, a 101-acute care facility located in the San Gabriel Valley of Los Angeles County, is seeking an ER Tech for our Emergency Department. This is a full-time, 12-hour, variable-shift position. This position reports to the Director of ER/I.C.U.
The ER Technician takes assignments and direction from the assigned Charge Nurse or Registered Nurse. The ER Tech position is directly responsible for the delivery of high quality, individualized basic patient care. The ER Tech supports the hospital mission and vision. The ER Tech utilizes knowledge of patient’s age, developmental status, spiritual and cultural diversity into the provision of patient care. This position contributes to the provision of safety and quality care that result in positive outcomes in patient care.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• Current BLS required.
• AB508, MAB, CPI or equivalent training within 90 days of hire/transfer/promotion date.

Nice To Haves

• EMT/CNA or MA certification preferred.
• 1 year as an ER Tech, C.N.A. or MA in a hospital setting preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
