  • Ensuring safe and efficient work practices, including following and adhering to all safety policies and procedures
  • Troubleshoot pneumatic/electronic instrument devices and analyzers
  • Knowledge of installation and repair of various types of control valves and loops
  • Repairing and inspecting electrical switch gear up to 13000 volts
  • Inspects, repair, installs, modifies and maintains electrical/electronic systems, circuits and equipment
  • Inspects, repair, installs and test instrumentation systems by production equipment to ensure adherence to established performance levels and product quality
  • Following written procedures and completing detailed checklist
  • Working closely with contractors, vendors, and internal departments to develop PM standards on equipment
  • Attending and completing required training, internally and externally specific to job skills
  • Play a critical role not only in ensuring your own safety but the safety of others
  • Operate mobile equipment as required
  • Deliver quality work with limited supervision
  • Work outside scheduled hours (including holidays) as needed to ensure plant reliability
  • Complete work in plant environment in all weather conditions
  • Minimum 1-year on-the-job experience as an I&E technician in a heavy industrial environment, 3 or more years preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • I/E Certifications preferred
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver's license
  • Troubleshooting and analytical ability
  • Working knowledge of temperatures, pressure, flows, electronic transmitters
  • Ability to inspect, repair, install, modify, and maintain electrical/electronic systems, circuits and equipment
  • Working knowledge in troubleshooting electrical circuits
  • Working knowledge/troubleshooting pneumatic/electronic instruments, devices and analyzers
  • Working knowledge of computer systems and data management systems including SAP and Microsoft Office Suite preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to operate various types of heavy equipment & obtain certifications
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs. on a daily basis
  • Ability to climb stairs and/or ladders 40-50' in height
