Requirements

Completion of or working towards an AS degree or 2 Year Technical Degree in Drafting Technology or Engineering Technology from an accredited institution or a Mechanical Engineering technology degree or relevant technical drafting course.
Completed CAD Parametric modeling Coursework.
2 - 3 years' experience with 3D CAD Drafting using modeling software such as Autodesk Inventor or SolidWorks.
Applicant must possess a solid understanding of drafting principles and documentation including BOM generation and usage, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing, and drawing redlining and revisions.
High Competency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams

Responsibilities

Process and provide manufacturing drawings, details, submittals, and other documents.
Design and manage drafting projects from conception to completion.
Creation of 2D AutoCAD and 3D SolidWorks engineering documentation including Part Models, Assemblies, and Bills of Material.
Managing engineering data in a PDM environment.
Must be able to multi-task and handle several projects in a fast-paced environment, attention to details is critical.
Use feedback to modify existing designs, use problem-solving skills to develop alternative solutions to unforeseen engineering issues, and keep all completed drafts in a company database for future access and reference.
Support the vision, mission and guiding principles of the company
Observe applicable Safety, Health, and Environmental rules and guidelines
Use appropriate personal protective equipment
Attend and participate in training opportunities and seminars relevant to this position
Adhere to appropriate company operating procedures, benefit rules, employment policies and safety policies
