About The Position

The Distribution Technician position at Sutter Health involves providing materials support to clinical and ancillary departments, ensuring adequate supply levels in various locations, and acting as a liaison between departments and Materials Management. Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent education/experience.
• Minimum one year of experience in Inventory Control, Central Supply, or Distribution.
• Knowledge of medical supplies and inventory control.
• Proficiency in using computers.

Responsibilities

• Maintain adequate supply in all Omnicells, Optiflex, and Lawson par locations.
• Enter all patient charges.
• Act as a liaison between assigned departments and Materials Management to address issues or concerns.
• Order, stock, deliver, and access IV solutions from floor stock lists.
• Transport and stock IV solutions to specific locations as needed.
• Seek access to medication rooms for deliveries as required.
