This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities. We are looking for highly motivated Technicians to drive outstanding quality production in our Kent, WA facility. Position Specific Details: Shift: B: Monday-Thursday 3:00PM-1:30AM Location: Kent, WA

Requirements

  • Passion for our mission: Millions of people living and working in space!
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a multi-skilled technician role
  • Experience in multi-skilled maintenance
  • Troubleshoot and repair various assembly manufacturing equipment
  • Familiar with reading electrical schematics and diagrams
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficient in use of precision hand tools
  • Familiar with use of personal computers
  • Self-motivated and ability to prioritize projects to meet completion dates
  • PLC operation experience (please note which controllers you have the highest proficiency with on CV)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with industrial ovens or autoclaves
  • Experience reading engineering drawings
  • Experience with Production Assembly equipment
  • Integration of accessory machine components
  • Machine operation experience
  • Hazardous waste management experience
  • Experience operating heavy lifting equipment such as overhead cranes and forklifts around flight critical hardware

Responsibilities

  • Safely work within an industrial environment
  • Mastery of precision and tight tolerance production
  • Strong written and verbal communication, technical abilities, and software skills (CAD, Scheduling, Issue Tracking, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc)
  • Ability to communicate clearly and appropriately at all levels of the organization
  • Climb Ladders and Stairs, lift and carry 50 lbs for limited durations
  • Work schedule may require flexibility and/or overtime based on business need
  • Successfully pass all training as required
