Your day to day as a Technician Commercial Truck Center As a new Full Time Technician at the Commercial Truck Center, you will engage in a variety of hands-on tasks that are essential to maintaining our fleet's performance and safety. Your day will start with a thorough inspection of vehicles, identifying any mechanical issues and diagnosing problems effectively. You'll perform routine maintenance and repairs, ensuring all trucks are road-ready and in compliance with industry standards.

Requirements

One-year-related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
A strong mechanical aptitude is crucial; you'll need to quickly diagnose issues and perform repairs on a variety of commercial vehicles.
Attention to detail is also vital, as precision ensures safety and optimal performance.
Problem-solving skills will empower you to tackle complex challenges creatively and effectively.
Being an excellent communicator will enhance collaboration with team members and customers, fostering a supportive and efficient work environment.
Adaptability is necessary, as you will encounter diverse scenarios daily that require quick thinking and flexibility.

Responsibilities

Performs work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
Diagnoses the cause of any malfunction and performs repair.
Communicates with parts department to obtain needed parts.
