Responsibilities: The focus of the Clean Utilities Technician - Night Shift is to support the manufacturing process through involvement with start-up, operation, monitoring, maintaining and shutdown of clean utility systems and equipment within Clean Utility mechanical rooms. The Clean Utilities Technician - Night Shift is expected to understand the needs and requirements of the customer (Operations); must be able to work effectively with customers, handle customer questions with tact and understanding while displaying good customer service. Key Objectives/Deliverables: This role is expected to improve equipment uptime, line efficiency, and increase overall equipment effectiveness in a production environment by condition monitoring, troubleshooting, and assisting in engineering changes Must possess a good mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot and repair equipment while, following departmental rules and regulations. Must be willing to work with safety as a primary focus and abide by applicable safety procedures and practices. Performing preventative and predictive maintenance on related clean utilities and systems that support manufacturing. Maintaining water rooms and related equipment such as pumps, motors, Water for Injection (WFI) stills, Clean Steam Generators and related piping. Performing activities such as troubleshooting, hands on repairs on all related clean utility equipment and systems, and WFI point of use flushing. Maintaining documents and records on all validated equipment and systems. Collaborating with other departments and contractors on scheduling repairs and maintenance of clean utility systems. Communicating with management regarding change documentation as necessary. Following current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) and Good Business Practices. Communicating and coordinating with each department and within Facilities Management when planned and unplanned work events occur.
