About The Position
The position involves processing and supplying sterilized medical equipment, linen, and supplies for use throughout the hospital. The role requires adherence to established procedures for packing, wrapping, marking, autoclaving, and issuing sterilized items. The individual will perform quality control tests on all equipment prior to use and inspect surgical linens for stains and holes. Additionally, the position includes setting up oral and gastric suctions and maintaining various medical carts. The individual will also be responsible for assembling packages and trays according to specific requirements and maintaining a clean processing area.
