About The Position

You will be the Technician Calibration Specialist for the MFC Ocala team. Our team is responsible for manufacturing and assembling circuit cards, cable and harnesses, and electro-optic assemblies for 20+ programs. Love where you work, enjoy where you live! Ocala is the largest manufacturing site within Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire control (MFC). MFC Ocala is responsible for manufacturing and assembling circuit cards, cable and harnesses, and electro-optic assemblies for 20+ programs in an air conditioned facility. Our facility invests in new and upgraded automated equipment to maximize quality and efficiency. Our facility has a highly flexible automated circuit card assembly process including localized wave solder, hot air solder, robotic contact solder, 3D solder paste inspection, automated optical inspection, and automated X-Ray inspection. After assembling our circuit cards we environmentally protect them utilizing a fully automated, double sided conformal coating work cell. We are continuously striving to increase machine-to-machine communication throughout our automated lines. We have significant investments in braiding, shielding, and sleeving preparation equipment for support of our cable and harness manufacturing. This includes advanced UV/CO2 laser marking and stripping. In order to support our electro-optic assembly we have a 10,000 sq ft ISO Class 7 clean room. We continue to push the limits of automated electro-mechanical assembly with an automation development center that is actively researching new uses for our 5-axis and 6-axis robotic arms. What You Will Be Doing As the Technician Calibration Specialist, you will be responsible for calibrating electronic test measuring equipment and signal generating equipment to conform to set standards. You will test, calibrate, adjust, and maintain electromechanical, mechanical, optical, pneumatic, hydro mechanical, and pressure-type measuring and indicating instruments. Additional responsibilities include setting up calibration sequences, methods and procedures according to detailed specifications, blueprints, drawings, and requirements. Our calibration techs will disassemble, clean, repair, and replace defective parts of test equipment such as pressure gauges and tension meters. Requirements

  • Experience developing, reviewing, and performing calibrations per standard operating procedures for required instrumentation.
  • Ability to install, maintain, troubleshoot and calibrate instrumentation and control systems on process equipment.
  • Ability to complete scheduled and unscheduled work orders and preventative maintenance.
  • 3 years of related experience and holds a High School diploma or equivalent.
  • MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
