About The Position

Great medicine. Great clients. Great teamwork. Overnight and weekend shifts include a shift differential. We have full-time positions only at this time. Are you a Technician Assistant who does your best work when the hospital quiets down—but the medicine gets intense? Our Overnight ER/ICU Technician Assistant role is ideal for someone who’s calm, capable, and confident supporting patient care during the most critical hours of the night. You’ll work closely with overnight veterinarians and credentialed technicians to provide continuous, high-quality care for hospitalized and emergency patients, playing a key role in keeping patients safe, comfortable, and closely monitored until morning. What You’ll Do Assist veterinarians and technicians with overnight patient care and treatments Monitor hospitalized patients and promptly report changes to the medical team Safely restrain patients and support procedures as directed Prepare medications, supplies, and treatment areas Collect and run basic diagnostics as trained Maintain cleanliness and organization of treatment and ICU areas Support accurate documentation and workflow in the EMR Communicate clearly and calmly during high-acuity, low-staff situations Follow AAHA standards, hospital protocols, and core values Why Overnight Shift?
