About The Position

Technician Assistant Cross Keys Village – The Brethren Home Community (CKV) is looking for a talented individual to join our team and help deliver technical support to our residents, villagers, and team members. As a Technician Assistant, you’ll be part of a welcoming workplace guided by Christian values. Your role as a Technician Assistant As a Technician Assistant, your scope of responsibilities will include but is not limited to:

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Basic knowledge of personal computers, printers, Microsoft Windows, word processing, spreadsheets, and the Internet is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Two years of experience supporting and maintaining computer systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Receiving, recording, and responding to requests for technical support in a timely manner to ensure high customer satisfaction of team members, residents, and villagers.
  • Adding and removing user accounts and resetting passwords as needed.
  • Coordinating villager move-ins and transferring activities (confirm devices, schedule time, track changes, create information packets).
  • Monitoring daily SARA report for low battery notifications and other issues, scheduling and assigning work requests as needed.
  • Maintaining equipment inventory including documentation and physical storage
  • Creating and maintaining user instructions, network documentation, etc.
  • May assist with computer training for new users as needed.
