Your Opportunity, Your Team The Technician Assistant will join HSN's maintenance team to provide hands‑on support for equipment, systems, and facility upkeep, reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor and Maintenance Team Lead. You'll assist with routine cleaning, lubrication, basic part replacements, and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing tasks using hand and power tools, while helping respond to downtime and preventive maintenance. Where You'll Work This role is onsite and will require you to work from our Piney Flats, TN Fulfillment Center daily. Relocation assistance is not available for this role. What You'll Do Support maintenance operations by assisting with repairs to machinery, equipment, building systems, plumbing, and electrical components using hand and power tools. Perform routine upkeep including cleaning, lubricating, painting, and basic part replacements (belts, fixtures). Assist installations and repairs by drilling, cutting, bending, joining materials, and operating power equipment and welding tools under guidance. Handle facility tasks such as clearing drains, patching surfaces, and operating tractors or snow‑removal equipment. Record and report work by entering job data into systems and following directions from the Maintenance Supervisor and Team Lead. What You'll Bring 1–3 years' experience in a distribution, industrial, or maintenance environment. High school diploma or equivalent with basic math and computer skills. Mechanical aptitude and ability to lift 30lbs up to 70lbs. Comfortable using hand and power tools and following supervisor guidance for repairs. Basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing tasks and safe equipment operation.
