This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities. As part of a hardworking team of technicians, you will assist with the setup of the production work areas, including layouts, tooling, and equipment setup for various spaceflight systems. You will share in the team’s impact on all aspects of transition from development to production. In this position, you will be responsible for spray and hand applying coatings, sealants, and thermal protection systems onto New Glenn flight hardware assemblies according to written procedures, engineering models, drawings, and specifications. You will be responsible to operate various material handling equipment including forklifts, overhead cranes, aerial lifts, flight vehicle and subassembly transportation equipment, truck-trailer combinations and other ground support equipment as required. You will perform second party verifications and hardware inspections to engineering models, drawings, specifications, and written procedure.
