This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities. As an Assembly and Integration Technician at Blue Origin, you will provide hands-on technical support to engineering, production, and manufacturing teams by performing activities such as assembly, integration, testing, modification, and checkout of aerospace systems and hardware. Working from engineering drawings, schematics, and detailed work instructions, you will build, integrate, and troubleshoot prototype and production electro-mechanical systems, avionics, and specialized test equipment. You will perform operational tests, fault isolation, and assist in remedying malfunctions, ensuring all systems meet rigorous quality and safety standards. This role requires proficiency using a wide range of manufacturing and diagnostic tools, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to supporting Blue Origin’s mission of safe and reliable spaceflight. Position Specific Details: Shifts: B Shift | Mon- Thur Location: Kent, WA Relocation: Available Key Responsibilities Utilizing automated bending equipment, you’ll develop, fabricate, and inspect tubes and tube assemblies for space launch vehicles. Assemble and integrate subcomponents and final assemblies of all major structural, mechanical, fluid, and avionic systems according to engineering specifications. Configure production work areas with necessary tooling and equipment to ensure efficient workflow and minimize delays during high-rate manufacturing transitions. Operate precision calibrated tools (e.g., torque wrenches, micrometers) to maintain high safety and quality standards. Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives for safety, efficiency, and productivity. Perform operational tests, troubleshooting, and fault isolation to ensure the integrity and reliability of assembled systems. Support the transition from development to production, performing preventative maintenance as needed. Maintain clean and organized work areas following 5S principles to promote safety and operational efficiency.
