Are you passionate about cars and interested in starting a career in the automotive industry? Servco is hiring a Technician Apprentice as part of our STEP program. The apprentice will attend training classes, perform basic servicing and troubleshooting techniques, and repair procedures as part of the Servco Technical Education Program (STEP). Requirements
- Complete the Servco Technical Education Program Scholarship application and selection process
- Currently enrolled in the Auto Technology program at a Hawaii community college
- Maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 for classes required as part of the Auto Technology program
- Completed at least 1 semester in Honolulu, Leeward, Maui or Kauai Community College’s Auto Technology A.S. Degree program
- Have at least 1 semester remaining as part of the Auto Technology program
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Responsibilities
- Actively participates in both e-learning and training lab work
- Shadow Servco service department personnel across various service locations
- Perform service and repair jobs under the direction of an experienced Servco Technician
