About The Position

Kool Toyota is seeking a motivated Technician Apprentice to join our Service Department. This is an entry-level, full-time position designed for individuals interested in starting a career as an automotive technician. The Technician Apprentice will work under the guidance of experienced technicians, learning diagnostic, maintenance, and repair skills while gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced dealership environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• Interest in automotive repair and a desire to pursue a career as an automotive technician
• Basic mechanical knowledge and willingness to learn
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
• Ability to stand, bend, lift, and work on your feet for extended periods

Nice To Haves

• Enrollment in or completion of an automotive technology program is a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

• Assist senior technicians with vehicle inspections, maintenance, and repairs
• Perform basic automotive services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks
• Learn to use diagnostic tools and service equipment safely and correctly
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Follow dealership and manufacturer (Toyota) service procedures and guidelines
• Accurately document work performed and communicate effectively with the service team
• Attend training sessions and complete required manufacturer or in-house training
• Comply with all safety policies and procedures
