Northrop Grumman's semiconductor foundry and packaging lines have unique capabilities of supporting a range of production microelectronic devices (Silicon, Gallium Arsenide, Gallium Nitride, Silicon Carbide) and providing leading-edge technology development. What You'll get to Do: Responsibilities include aspects of maintaining the semiconductor equipment. The chosen candidate will perform installation, maintenance, repairs, and calibration on equipment. Locates and diagnoses failures, replaces defective components, and performs basic troubleshooting using standard electronic equipment, detailed drawings, diagrams, sketches, specifications, prints, manuals, and verbal and/or written instructions. Maintains appropriate maintenance and repair logs. Uses a variety of hand, power, and test tools and equipment. May estimate labor and equipment costs and prepare requisitions as required. The candidate will need excellent verbal and written communication skills. Performs a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, and electromechanical areas. Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems. Works from engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions. Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in the prescribed format. Minimal travel. NOTE: This will be a 2nd Shift role with a 10% Shift differential

Requirements

  • An Associate's degree in a technical area with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience or a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in maintenance and repair in lieu of a degree.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with cross-organizational teams such as engineering, production managers, operators, and technicians.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
  • U.S. citizen required

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with semiconductor equipment.
  • Experience with handling chemicals
  • Experience in low-volume/high-product-mix environments
  • Experience interfacing with vendors for equipment repairs, service contracts, and purchase preferred
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
