About The Position

Requirements

• Ability to comprehend technical information and read/write legibly.
• Willingness to pursue technical schooling in a timely manner to fulfill job requirements.
• Ability to learn the operation of the test stand.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble failed transmissions to determine the root cause of failure and rework as required.
• Identify assembly errors and make suggestions to improve the process.
• Operate air impact gun and assorted hand tools to remove and install fasteners.
• Inspect parts and subassemblies for defects, misbuilt or omitted parts.
• Scrap defective parts as necessary.
• Clean and perform operator maintenance on assigned equipment.
• Adhere to the policies, procedures, and instructions of the QS 9000 and ISO 14001 systems.
