About The Position

We are currently looking for a Technician 2 to join our team in ATC/Stanfield, AZ. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and conducting vehicle/component level testing, maintaining testing equipment and testing areas, assisting engineers with unique testing needs and any other task as requested by management. -Instrumenting vehicles and conducting component/system level testing. -Assisting engineering team with troubleshooting, root cause analysis and developing effective countermeasures. -Communicating accurately and professionally with technicians, engineers, and management teams. -Creating detailed technical documents to support test setup and operation. -Tracking personal progress to ensure department and corporate objectives are met. -Creating accurate detailed test reports for submitting to test engineering.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in an automotive related discipline preferred plus 1 year of Test Technician experience in Lab Operations Department or equivalent. (Will consider 4 years Test Technician experience in lieu of an associate’s degree).
  • Experience with instrumentation and data collection.
  • Willing to work overtime and travel as needed; the candidate must be able to work overtime on some weekends and off-shift as needed.
  • Strong automotive mechanical skills, problem solving skills, and proficient using Microsoft Office tools.
  • Ability to maintain clean and safe work area.
