Overview : The Process Technician supports high-volume semiconductor manufacturing by sustaining photolithography and etch processes in a cleanroom environment. This role is responsible for monitoring process health, responding to SPC trends, and troubleshooting equipment and process issues to maintain yield, quality, and productivity. Success in this role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced wafer fab setting.

Requirements

  • Strong work ethic and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective verbal and written communication
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving working on complex problems in a high-volume production facility
  • Basic understanding of semiconductor device physics and materials
  • Wafer fab experience or knowledge of semiconductor processing
  • Ability to learn new skills and easily adapt to change
  • Familiarity with basic SPC terms, methods and concepts
  • Highschool degree or GED

Nice To Haves

  • 2 or 4 year degree in a technical discipline

Responsibilities

  • Sustain the photolithography and etch modules in the fab by reviewing and dispositioning aberrant lots, addressing equipment issues, and providing manufacturing support in a semiconductor cleanroom.
  • Monitor the health of the production line by reviewing and responding to process trends using SPC.
  • Determine root cause and corrective actions for process issues.
  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts to enhance process control, yield, and cost reduction.
  • Write and edit specifications/procedures.
  • Participate in training of colleagues.
