Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Technical Communication, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of technical concepts and ability to learn new technologies quickly.
  • Proficiency with common documentation tools such as Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat, or similar.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with content management systems (CMS) and version control tools.
  • Familiarity with graphic design or multimedia editing software.
  • Previous experience in a technical writing or editing role within the services industry.
  • Knowledge of HTML, XML, or other markup languages.
  • Certification in technical writing or related professional development courses.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, write, and edit technical documents including manuals, user guides, FAQs, and online help content.
  • Collaborate with engineers, developers, and other stakeholders to gather and verify technical information.
  • Review and revise existing documentation to improve clarity, accuracy, and usability.
  • Ensure all documentation complies with company style guides and industry standards.
  • Manage multiple documentation projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and quality expectations.
