About the position

We are looking for a Technical Training Subject Matter Expert (Expert) to join the Global Dealer Learning and Development Team. Working closely with cross-functional teams, this role will be the driving force to help re-define the dealer training roadmap. This person will also play a pivotal role in mentoring other Experts and Instructors on the Team. Together, you will cultivate a best-in-class training experience for BRP's Technician Community globally.

Responsibilities

  • Working with instructional designers and internal stakeholders to design and develop technical training curriculums, instructor, and student materials.
  • Lead the development of Technical Updates eLearning courses by producing the high-level design documents, as well as enabling vendors on technical details.
  • Monitor the Community for technical service trends in the network and produce training materials that support and enable the technicians. Such as the Featured Topics articles; Live with BRP webinars etc.
  • Analyze user training results from the LMS, based on which provide and implement recommendations to improve existing training programs.
  • Deliver hands-on training classes and train-the-trainer sessions.
  • Act as liaison between the Training Team and internal After Sales Teams.

Requirements

  • BRP Certified Master Technician
  • Previous experience working at a BRP dealership as a Master Technician.
  • Extremely strong technical competency on all BRP products. This includes Ski-Doo, Sea-Doo, Sea-Doo Switch, Can-Am Off-Road, Can-Am On-Road.
  • Strong technical competency on BRP electric products. This includes Ski-Doo Grand Touring Electric, Ski-Doo Expedition Electric, Can-Am Pulse and Can-Am Origin.
  • Proven track record of developing instructional materials.
  • Proven track record of delivering technical hands-on classes.
  • Strong writing skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Passion for training and education.
  • Relevant experience working with Instructional Designers.
  • Basic understanding of instructional design principles.
  • Basic know-how on the Litmos system is a strong asset.
