About The Position

The Technical Trainer at Warner Pacific Insurance is responsible for developing and deploying training programs focused on technology and operations initiatives. Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in learning and development, focusing on new software and operational processes.
• Experience with educational authoring tools like Articulate 360 and Camtasia.
• Proven success in introducing new technology or concepts, particularly with systems like Salesforce and Microsoft Office 365.
• Understanding of Adult Learning Theory and the ADDIE model.
• Excellent communication skills for building relationships across the organization.
• Ability to present complex information in a digestible format for novice learners.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; comparable experience considered.

Nice To Haves

• Degrees or certificates in Learning, organizational change, or instructional design.

Responsibilities

• Meet with SMEs across teams to identify training needs and create innovative training solutions.
• Develop learning strategies that incorporate stakeholder goals.
• Design educational content using various modalities and software such as PowerPoint and Articulate 360.
• Deploy educational content through LMS, instructor-led, and virtual instructor-led formats.
• Assess training success and impact for future improvements.
• Partner with high-growth teams to understand future education needs.
• Create enthusiasm among employees for new technology and operational changes.
• Develop and manage a post-training feedback loop.
