The Technical Team Leader will perform engineering duties in planning and designing tools, machines, and other mechanically functioning equipment. This role supports program management in product and process development, creating and executing goals, timing, and cost for projects. The leader will communicate and coordinate projects between program management, engineering, customer representatives, and corporate representatives. They will identify design work and create design specifications for a variety of complex product components to obtain operational, cost, quality, and manufacturing feasibility improvements. The position involves analyzing complex design problems and formulating engineering conclusions by applying engineering and mathematical principles. The leader will create 3-dimensional models of designs as required by projects using specialized software for release or support of other activities. Consulting with personnel in various engineering activities relative to the design, drafting, and experimental construction of product components is also a key responsibility. The role includes providing technical support and follow-up on Design/Product Validation activities, offering engineering direction and support to design personnel, implementing customer-specific requirements, and creating and maintaining DFMEA, DVP, Open Issue Lists, and Timelines as required. Additionally, the leader will support requests of program management as needed and communicate project objectives within the engineering team as well as with client stakeholders.
