The position involves providing coaching and development to all technical staff within the PE board department. The role requires making technical decisions and addressing process issues while adhering to established protocols. The individual will balance various factors such as quality, productivity, cost, safety, and morale to achieve positive outcomes across all areas of responsibility. Additionally, the position entails leading continuous improvement projects within the manufacturing operations of PE boards, updating Standard Operating Procedures, and monitoring line conditions. The individual will also assist in meeting daily production requirements and accurately reporting results, while actively participating in facility safety systems and utilizing the Quality Assurance system. Leadership is a key component, as the individual will manage department priorities related to process controls and product efficiencies, and work closely with maintenance and engineering personnel to resolve equipment issues. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.
